WebGreat Sand Dunes National Park is a Fee area. Children 16 and under are free. The Visitor Center is nice but you will not spend much time there. It has a great spot to get a good photo of the dunes. Plan to spend at least 2-3+ hours at the dunes. I highly recommend renting wooden sleds from the Oasis shop or the sporting goods store in Alamosa.
