This respawn chance is no longer 100% guaranteed and so it is possible for belts to not come back exactly 4 hours later - it may take them some time longer to re-appear. WebFeb 17, 2013 · They could be depleted. Each asteroid in EVE only holds a certain amount of ore before they are depleted. Being in a busy system with miners means belts get cleared quicker. What you can do is move a couple of systems (by using gates). This will likely still be high-sec and now low or null and mine the stuff there.

Typically it'll be between 20km-50km. If that's too far to fly, just bookmark the asteroid you want to mine, warp to a nearby planet, and then warp to the bookmark at 0.
