Most of our attention will be on the informal method of argument evaluation, but we will begin this chapter with a brief introduction to the formal evaluation of deductive arguments. 2. Her short, simple speech was a powerful rebuke to many antifeminist arguments of the day. It became, and continues to serve, as a classic expression of womens rights. Truth became, and still is today, a symbol of strong women.
